Billboard has got people – rap fans – screaming on social media. The company recently revealed the list of 50 Greatest Rap Groups of all Time.
Outkast is on #1, followed by Wu-Tang Clan, NWA, A Tribe Called Quest, and others.
The group was my favorite too sometime in the 90s but for only ballad: Sorry Miss Jackson
I don’t doubt that these guys have been good at what they do but what about other people who feel that another group should have been on number one?
So, why did Billboard put these guys on number one?
As I’ve seen on a hip hop site, it seems to be for the following reasons:
- Every album of these guys travelled a whole different dimension
- They got that number one spot through pure creativity
However, all social media commenters believe that Outkast is indeed one of the greatest rap groups of all time.
Could it be the multiple classic albums these guys have made over the years?
