Rapper asks US Presidential Election candidate to stop rapping his songs

Politicians are fond of using songs at their rallies. Many of them simply let the songs play but this US presidential election candidate went a step further…

He’s Vivek Ramaswamy, the youngest Indian-origin Republican presidential candidate.

He received a message from rapper Marshall B. Mathers III, who’s better known by the name Eminem, to stop using his music in election campaigning.

The news, which came from The New York Times said the licensing arm of Mathers’ recording company, BMI, informed the politician that any performance of the Eminem works by the politician will be a material breach.

The young politician is said to have broken into an impromptu version of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” at the Iowa State Fair.
